Put the remote in your pocket and forget about it! All Scorpio alarms utilize RFID technology for “hands free” operation. The smart RFID system will recognize when the alarm’s remote is in range and arm/disarm automatically when the ignition is turned on and off.
The system uses hook & loop fasteners, as well as cable ties to mount the module. You’re not required to drill any holes, use screws, or modify any of your motorcycle’s wires or parts.

The simple answer is NO. Scorpio alarms have been optimized to work with motorcycle batteries and draw the least amount of power as necessary. Sleep modes are automatic and limit the draw on the battery without sacrificing security.
Yes, the Main Control Module has an internal back-up battery that will sound the alarm if the battery is disconnected.
